Colli Etruschi
The project
Objective: to grow together in quality
Our primary objective is to maintain the high quality level achieved by our Extra Virgin Olive Oil which in 2014 won the title of world oil awarded by the prestigious Flos Olei guide. For this reason we have carried out constant work aimed at guiding and assisting our members in the improvement, valorisation and qualification of olive production by adopting quality regulations and guaranteeing, if necessary, technical assistance for agronomic works.
We check our olive groves to ensure an excellent product
The olive groves of the members are subjected to repeated and strict controls in every production phase.
To ensure the maintenance and continuity of quality standards, the adoption of agricultural practices was also encouraged, including bringing forward the harvest at the beginning of October and delivering the olives divided by cultivar on harvest day.
Historical cultivars expression of a unique territory
From a varietal point of view, a preference was given for the Caninese, an autochthonous cultivar from which a territorial and recognizable extra virgin olive oil is obtained, characterized by a herbaceous scent with nuances of thistle.
There are also extensions of Leccino and Frantoio.
